P1 Travel is looking for a New Business Development Manager for Sports & Events!

About P1 Travel

P1 Travel is the largest ticketing company in Europe. As an authorized reseller, we are the official partner of major global live events. Think of clubs like Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Barcelona, as well as the 2024 Olympic Games, Formula 1, and Wimbledon. We bring both corporate and individual customers to the event of their dreams, and you can be part of it! Additionally, we connect hotels and other activities to the sale of tickets for live events.

Your ultimate mission and the team 

Together with the team, consisting of two other New Business Development Managers, you will collaborate to establish new partnerships and expand our offerings. As a New Business Development Manager, you are a pioneer and identify opportunities to expand our business within the sports and music industry. You work alongside our Partnership Managers to build a long-lasting relationship.

Job requirements

Your Qualifications

  • You are a true 'hunter' and actively engage in networking and acquiring leads through various channels;
  • Experienced in commercial negotiations and adept at closing deals;
  • Capable of making deals with various (sports) organizations, involving regular travel within Europe (or beyond) to establish and maintain contacts;
  • A self-starter who knows how to build connections and is accustomed to reporting with a data-driven mindset;
  • Once a partner is convinced, you collaborate on agreements, including pricing, the number and type of seats to be taken, and other conditions;
  • Document all agreements in a contract and coordinate with other departments;
  • Lastly, collaborate extensively with the product team on opportunities and possibilities, and work with the procurement team to strategize the route towards a deal for existing partnerships.

What you need

  • Minimum of a completed bachelor's degree, preferably in the field of commercial economics or account management;
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, making you a solid conversationalist;
  • Affinity with sports and music, enabling you to empathize with our target audience. Following important sports events is not seen as an obligation but rather an interest;
  • Due to international interactions, you have a strong command of the English language. Any additional language proficiency is a significant advantage!
